The New Brunswick Masonic Charities and Housing Company Ltd., was formed in 1986, with the approval of the Masonic Grand Lodge of New Brunswick As a registered charity; our objectives include:
- To construct, maintain and operate quality low cost housing for senior citizens.
- To provide financial assistance to aid children through support organizations, such as;

  • Canadian Cancer Society, NB Division
  • Canadian Deaf Blind Rubella Association

  • Saint John Regional Hospital's Memorial Playground

  • Other child oriented concerns as the Company's resources will permit. The first project of this Masonic charity was the construction of Quinn House 9 unit housing complex for seniors at St. Andrews, N.B.. Construction was started in November 1988 and the facility officially opened in 1989.

The Masonic Lodge of Woodstock, shortly afterwards, successfully undertook the construction of their own seniors residence.
